Walking down East Second Avenue, one of the more toney streets in Denver for shops, salons, spas and restaurants, was a young fashionista dressed in pink from head to toe. The shopper was escorted by her mother, bags from Kazoo Toy Store in hand, and she was twirling a new umbrella on a very sunny afternoon. The new umbrella matched her very pink dress and very pink patent shoes. She was smiling and proud of her umbrella because it was pink, and it was also new.
