Cherry Creek North was a flutter with nearly 1,000 participants on a warm Saturday afternoon. The 5K Skirt Chasers event was held and the start time for the women was at 5 pm. The chasers, or the men, went at 5:03 pm and barely caught up throughout the entire race course. The 5K wound through the Cherry Creek North business and residential community with a block party celebration at the end. The race event was colorful and unique, with all the women in runner's skirts.
