Mayor John Hickenlooper was the headliner at the Realtor event hosted by NorthCreek and Colwell Banker Devonshire at NorthCreek in the Tower Residences.
The Mayor spoke to approximately 100 Denver area top real estate professionals about the upcoming Biennial of the Americas this summer. Denver will be the host city for this gathering of the Western Hemisphere's greatest innovators in art, culture and thought. The Mayor emphasized the importance of the real estate community in sustaining the success and viability of a big city. Along with acting as hosts to many visitors during the Biennial, Denver's top real estate brokers were asked to share information about the 2010 Biennial to their clients and colleagues. All of the top real estate brokerage firms were in attendance as well as Mark Trenka, President of the Denver Board of Realtors and Gretchen Faber, Director from the National Association of Realtors.
The Mayor also spoke to the importance of quality residential developments such as NorthCreek in a city the size of Denver. With Denver's growing status both nationally and internationally, NorthCreek stands tall and is an example of how successful cities will move forward in this century.
The Mayor commented that the mixture of high quality architecture and construction along with its premier location makes NorthCreek a top residential community in Denver. The Cherry Creek North Business Improvement District Board of Directors, approved a resolution that authorizes the District to explore possible alternative design concpts for Fillmore resulting in a hybrid plan that allows for both events and two way vehicular access.
Two Fillmore Design Concept Open Houses have been scheduled at 100 Fillmore Place on the east side of the plaza. Representatives from the design team wil be on hand to discuss the current design as well as a hybrid concept. Exhibits and drawings will be available for review. The Cherry Creek North Merchant Open House will be held Friday, March 5, from 8 am - 10 am. The Public Open House will be held Tuesday, March 9, from 5 pm - 7 pm.
